Step 1: Go to INX and Enter Your Email

Navigate to INX.co, enter your email in the box seen in the image below, then click the arrow.

INX step 1

Step 2:  Choose a Password, Accept Terms

On the next page you’ll have to create a password for your account and accept the platform’s terms. Then click “Join”. You’ll be sent an email to verify before you can proceed.

INX step 2

Step 3: Verify Your Email

Go to your email and click the link to verify that it’s correct.

Step 4: Fill Out Personal Profile

The next step is to fill out your personal profile. This includes providing information such as your name, address, occupation, date of birth, income, risk tolerance, and more. Once you’ve completed the fields, click “Next”.

INX Steps

Step 5: Upload Identity and Address Documents

After you’ve completed your personal profile information, the next step is to upload your documents. This includes an ID document such as a passport or driver’s license, along with another document that has the same address. If you choose not to upload your passport at this stage, you can instead use a driver’s license, but you’ll have to upload the passport eventually. After uploading your docs, click “Next”.

Step 6: Accept Agreements

Next, you’ll have to accept agreements for the available assets in your nation. Then, click “Submit” to finish your application.

Overview of INX Exchange

Here’s a look at some of the notable features of INX exchange:

Types of Crypto You Can Buy

INX has a somewhat limited digital asset selection, below are all the cryptocurrencies available to buy and sell on INX:

  • Bitcoin (BTC)
  • Ethereum (ETH)
  • Litecoin (LTC)
  • Zcash (ZEC)
  • USD Coin (USDC)
  • Avalanche (AVAXC)
  • Fantom (FTM)
  • Uniswap (UNI)
  • CURVE (CRV)
  • AAVE (AAVE)

Is INX Safe?

Yes, INX is safe to use. It is one of the most highly regulated platforms in the US, with registered securities tokens that have been approved by the SEC available. The platform also doesn’t use any of its customers’ funds and instead stores them in US banks.

What Are INX Fees?

INX has relatively high fees when it comes to cryptocurrency trading, though they can be reduced depending on your holding of INX Token (more on this in Best Features). Maker fees start at 0.3% and taker fees start at 0.4%. For comparison, Binance’s fees start at 0.1% for both maker and taker.

INX charges no fees for deposits of crypto or fiat, unless you use a debit or credit card. Withdrawals of fiat have flat rates of $35 or 1.2% , while crypto withdrawals vary by asset but are fairly in line with the rest of the industry.

Ease of Use

INX has a fairly easy sign up process, and the platform user interface is similar to many other trading platforms. This makes it fairly easy to use, but probably not for beginner traders.

Customer Support Services

INX has a fairly comprehensive support center with a FAQ and video tutorials. There is also a contact us form. There is no live chat or phone support.

Best INX Exchange Features

The INX Token (INX) is similar to Binance’s Binance Coin (BNB). Essentially by holding onto INX, you can get a trading fee discount of up to 40%. The discount depends on the amount of INX you hold.

INX also provides an added benefit in that INX holders also receive an annual pro-rata redistribution of 40% of INX’s net operating cash flow. This gives holders a form of passive income in addition to trading fee discounts.
